Always great pizza. You could not find nicer people, or better food. Times Square is an excellent, consistent place to eat.

if you're gonna call yourself Time Square Pizza, it better make me relive my first NY pizza experience. NY pizza it's not, but it tasted ok.

I've heard a lot about this place...the Pizza is good but the place is unsanitary. I decided to check it out for myself. I walk in craving pizza and cheese fries, so I ask the guy at the counter, "do you have fries"? He had the nerve to answer me, "we are not McDonalds"!! I'm an educated woman, I know I'm not in McDonald's. Is McDonald's the only place that sell fries. The guy was a total wise guy who took me for a chump!! I will never walk foot in this place again, nor recommend anyone ever to eat there.

Best pizza in Fort Lauderdale. Just like back in NYC!! The crust is thin and crunchy and this sauce is just a little sweet from the basil. Pizza is Always cooked perfectly. They are a busy shop but always seem to arrive in under 45 minutes. You can also eat in, the have 3-4 tables. They also make some pasta and sandwiches though I"ve never tried.

A couple of new pizza places opened around Times Square recently, but this place is still the best around. Easy to go in and out of, to park, and the food is still the best.

Good pizza and sandwiches. The staff and owner are very friendly as well. One of my favorite lunch spots.

My husband and I love this place. We have been going there for 4 years and have never been disappointed with the pizza. Our preference is the large cheese with half meatball. I never was a fan of meatball until trying how this place does it. I am now addicted! I also love the cheesy garlic bread. The garlic has a great flavor however sometimes I feel as if they don't out enough cheese on it. I love chicken parmigiana subs but this place doesn't do it for me. They slice the chicken into thin slices. I personally would rather have the whole chicken cutlet though. the staff there are really nice too.

Ducked with with Johnny D. to get a slice and it was great because: * A pepperoni slice was HUGE. * Packed and stacked with pepperonis * Came out fast! * Johnny bought! * Conveniently located at Oakland Park and Useless 1 I love big, hand tossed, authentic pizza pie, baby, none of this corporate stuff. Score! They could put a couple bucks into keeping the place looking new, but that's just my opinion. Cabeza out, regretting I hadn't visited sooner!

Great pizza, with fast delivery. Meatballs are definitely homemade, and delicious ! Haven't had a bad meal yet from here. Absolutely worth trying.

I just tried this place for the first time. I have to agree with some of the other reviews. I did not like the tomato sauce this place uses. I did enjoy my 4 cheese pizza with ham and garlic. But I know I can find better pizza somewhere else. I might come back one more time to try something else but not pizza.

These yelp reviews are deceiving. There is no way this pizza deserves four stars. The crust is doughy and nothing like New York style.

  • Felice W.

The reviews here are just wrong. This not NY pizza. And it's not good - it's barely mediocre. I don't get how it has four stars.

I can't believe how many positive reviews for this place! The sauce was inedible and the cheese was really low quality. It tasted like a bad/low quality freezer pizza.

Yes!!! I have been passing by for quite some time now and am so glad I finally was able to try this pizzeria out. By far the BEST pizza I have had in a long time. Everything about the cheese slice was perfection. My boyfriend had the chicken parm sub and his reaction when taking his first bite was priceless. I DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone who is looking for real New York style pizzeria type food. 5 STARS!!!

Best pizza place in the area. The pizza is really good, new york style. I also really like the house salad with the house dressing, which is some sort of vinaigrette and oil. Perfect combo, pizza and salad.

Being from Brooklyn I know a bit about good pizza, and this place does not dissapoint. the crust is perfect, the sauce n cheese are also spot on. the meatball subs and chicken parm are outstanding. usually every Friday I treat my staff to lunch and it is usally this place, I usually get 2 slices and a diet coke while waiting for the meatball & chicken parm subs, which totals a whopping $20.00 and is so worth it. check them out and tell them the Candyman sent you :), as I own a Candy store and thats how they know me.

This little Pizza/Sub joint takes the prize for first place in the area in two categories. First the pizza is NY style and I recommend bringing help and ordering the biggest pie possible. Their sausage is great and I usually get double. The place is a hole in the wall and for takeout or very casual dine in it's great. They only have a few tables but the place is exactly the little type pizza joint you'd find in NY. Their crust is about an 8 on my very critical NY pizza scale of 10 because it is just slightly pastry like (but very good). I do like the very fresh toppings and when you put the pie together I have not found better pizza without going all the way up to Jupiter FL. to Vinny's on Indiantown Road 70 miles away, kings Pizza in Aventura, or Rice And Dough in Ft. Laud off Broward. ( I will go anywhere if I'm convinced it will be great) Now second and even better are the Italian subs. This may be the best kept secret in Ft. Lauderdale. I decided to try subs from the top three places on Yelp (for subs). On a whim I went to Times Square Pizza as well making it the fourth place. I brought them all home for the family to blind try and it was unanimous! Times Square has the best Italian sub. I lately have found myself wanting one of their Italian subs and it was truly a joke when I compared it to the "Monster subs" on Sunrise. Monster was NO monster compared to Times Square. I don't like my subs toasted and you must say "don't toast". Their bread is always fresh so in my opinion it's not necessary but have it your way! I'm a very picky "foodie" and Italian is one of my favorite categories. Try a "BIG TIME" pizza at Times Square (at Oakland Park BL and Federal Hwy.) and try the #1 best "Italian Sub" I have found so far in Ft. Lauderdale. I'll include two pictures so you can see if this meets/passes your "LOOK TEST"?

Excellent service, but I have to say the caprese salad and the pepperoni pizza we ordered were not up to part. The pizza was a bit saggy and the caprese salad didn't have balsamic vinegar that it comes with in every other Italian place we've visited before (maybe that is the way they do it, yet it tasted bland and simple). The pizza flavor was awesome, but the combination of a saggy pizza and paper plates make for a big mess and sometimes the wet paper would stick to the pizza.

I can't even rate this place... The pizza sucks big time, crust tastes funny, sauce is straight out of a can, everything I have ordered from this place sucks down to the antipasti salad that is half assed as well. Literally the only thing that was good was the soda I ordered and the side of ranch dressing probably because they don't make it and can't mess it up. Clueless how this place has 4 stars right now, find other pizza from people who have a pallet and know what flavor is instead of cardboard with cheese on it. I might also add that I gave this place multiple chances and have ordered several times and its always the same garbage....

I'm glad I discovered this gem of a pizza parlor. I've lost count how many times I've been here. Truly the best pizza in town, never have been disappointed. Usually I always get a slice or two and a coke. Can't go wrong. The meatball parm sub is also banging.

Big things come in small packages. The place is tiny inside but it's filled with folks that know how to make a pizza and pretty much any other Italian food you might want. There menu is great and their pizza is awesome. I especially love their Antipasto salad with creamy Italian dressing. We live not to far from this place and their delivery service is quick and the food is hot. Mind you most days/nights are busier than others but if you really really want a great tasting pizza give them a try you wont be disappointed.

Very friendly service, generous portions, and reasonable pricing. I ordered the 2-slice lunch special with basil and mushrooms. It tasted fresh and the slices were so big I could only eat one (granted I'm a petite woman, but still). Very satisfying. I will add that you can get a Sicilian slice which has a thick crust, or a regular with a thin crust. I'm glad I found this place.

I have to say my review is from NOT eating the food. I have a good friend who swears the place has the best pizza ever, So one day ..we were out and close..so we stopped in..well..It's very small and if you only ever just ordered delivery you would not know how dirty this place is. With my job..I see many kitchens and this one is in my opinion really vad. We ordered our food (despite my mis-givings) ..I thought ..okay...I can do it one..then we sat and waitied...while I watched the kitchen... and the standards are just not there. What I can say is I see dust everywhere ..under every piece of equipment..the floor is filthy...they are walking on flour and food and cheese. While making the orders the put sandwiches and other items on top of the dusty dirty oven...I could not eat after watching it for 10 mins. I do have high standards...but this is bad. Pop in and take a look for yourself...look behind the counter ..take a good look.

There's no better place in Fort Lauderdale to get a slice or two and a soda. Cheap, quick, no frills and the best NY style crust, sauce and cheese in FL. It loses something if the pizza's been sitting in a box for 20 minutes, like when you call for delivery. Still, it's pretty good. Their entrees like the lasagna or the anything parm or the spaghetti and meatballs are cheap and good in a bad for you comfort food sort of way.

Best new York style pizza around. They know how to do a well done pizza, and be sure to ask them for it. Price is great too. Very easy on the wallet

This is sad because they get 4/5 stars. I have been ordering from this place for the year or two. At first, it was one of the best pizza's I have had. But, it seems that the quality/service is slipping. The last several orders the pizza has shown up cold, and seems to be lacking taste. Every time I order now its worse then the last time. This is now the last time I will order from T.S.P. I placed an order for a pizza and a salad, almost $20 with delivery and tip. When the driver showed up I asked if the order included the requested forks and red pepper, I was told that everything was inside the box, then the driver ran out. Of course, when I opened the box there was nothing. Would it not be a good idea that the drivers keep some forks, knifes, napkins, etc., for, just in case, like this one? I know that people make mistakes, it's just you do about it that counts. I called telling T.S.P. what happened and they said that they would make it up next time. Really? cold pizza, no tools to eat the salad with (I guess I was suppose to eat the salad with my hands), no red peppers, and the person on the phone tells me he's going to make it up next time? What about this time? I am not five minutes away, can't you make good this time? I had to tell them that I will call up the credit card company and stop payment; that's when they said they will take care of it today. To add insult to injury the salad was old and turning brown. Now, because I got mad and yelled at them about the bad service, being told that I had to wait until the next order to get proper service, I am now afraid to order from them for fear of some kind of retaliation, directed at/to the food I order the next time. So, for me I am parting ways with T.S.P. there are many other places in this area that I can go and have a better experience.

I work next to these guys. Great NY style pizza. They also make a very good chicken parmesan sub. Service is good, and they're pretty quick with their delivery. Their pizza is as good as you can find in FTL.

So far, the best pizza I've found in Fort Lauderdale. Not really a place to go to dine - either order for pick-up or delivery. Yum!

I take a digital photography class, and my teacher suggested we all come here after a trip to a photo gallery. I've driven by here quite a few times, but had never even noticed this place... and apparently, neither had any of the other students. It is definitely a hole in the wall. The inside is very small, but there were a few booths and tables so you CAN dine in (which the five of us did), just don't expect it to be a fine dining experience. We sat down and ordered the "big time" pizza (20 inches) - half cheese, half pepperoni. The girl next to me was from Brooklyn, so she said she'd be the judge on if this was really NY-style pizza. Sure enough, she said it was one of the best pizzas she's had down here, and that it was better than the usual place in the area she frequents. At first glance, it had a thicker crust than I'd like, except upon biting into it, the bottom was nice and crispy, not doughy at all. It had a perfect amount of sauce and cheese, and since the slices are very generously sized, we all had to give in and use forks and knives for a bit. I've since ordered from here and got the large pizza for our office. It was good, but I liked it better before (I realized after that the first time, we had the 20 inch pizza, which only comes with thin crust, and I think that made the difference). I don't know if it's worth the 15 minute drive south to pick it up. I'll stick to coming here when I'm in the area.

My fiancé and I are getting married at a hotel on A1A in Fort Lauderdale. Our reception ends at 3pm, and we were thinking about having an after party with close family and friends, that night, at the hotel. We wanted to keep it simple, so we opted for pizza. I can't stand big chain pizza, so we did a quick look for local pizza places near the hotel. By chance, we happened upon Times Square Pizza. I'm a sucker for a place that has the phrase "pizza parlor" in the front window, so I knew we had to stop. We talked with one of the employees there, and they do deliver to our hotel. With this bit of good news, we decided to test out their product. PROS: - The pizza was a thin crust, tasted great, and was crispy. A rarity with the doughy variety down here. - The price was spectacular. I think it was $12 for a large plain pie. You can't beat that. - They have a lunch special. For $5.25, you get two slices of cheese and a soft drink. For .20 more, you get a salad, drink and a slice. - The staff seemed friendly, and it appeared that most folks who came through the door were regular customers. - For a small mom & pop place I was glad that they take credit cards. I never carry cash. - The atmosphere was simple, quaint, and laid back with an old school vibe. CONS: - You have to feed a parking meter to eat there. However, this applies to all businesses in this area. - Not a place for fine dining. This is an old school pizza parlor. If you want something fancier, look elsewhere. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice NY style pie without paying an arm and leg. I can't wait to have this during our post reception after party.

I went in tonight and ordered, "a large pizza with fresh tomato & garlic with mushrooms on half, well done." What I ended up with was a pizza with mushrooms, garlic and tomatos on 1/2 of the pizza. Oh and the pizza wasn't well done. I had high hopes for this place I really did but the staff was rude and the pizza was wrong. (and $15.00)
